Module 1: Flower Selection & Drying (Video: ~25 min)
Learn which flowers preserve best and how to dry them properly without losing color or shape.
Steps:
- Select fresh flowers with strong petals and stems
- Dry methods: silica gel, book pressing, air drying
- Time needed: 2–7 days depending on technique
- Sort petals by size and condition before embedding
- Optional: color enhance using natural-safe sprays
Module 2: Tools, Resin & Safety (Video: ~20 min)
Overview of essential tools, resin types, and basic safety measures for home use.
Essentials:
- Epoxy resin for art (2:1 or 1:1 ratio)
- Use gloves, respirator mask, and ventilated area
- Tools: silicone molds, mixing cups, spatulas, tweezers
- Prep workspace with wax paper or silicone mat
- Use heat gun or torch to remove bubbles
Module 3: First Pour & Flower Embedding (Video: ~35 min)
You’ll create the first resin layer, arrange flowers aesthetically, and gently embed them.
Steps:
- Mix small batch of clear resin
- Pour thin base layer into mold and let partially cure (2–4 hours)
- Arrange dried flowers face down (for top-facing result)
- Secure with small drops of resin if needed
- Avoid air gaps by gently pressing into semi-cured layer
Module 4: Final Pour & Curing (Video: ~30 min)
Seal in your floral design and complete the piece with a smooth glossy surface.
Steps:
- Mix final resin layer (same ratio)
- Pour over embedded flowers slowly and evenly
- Remove surface bubbles with torch or heat gun
- Let cure fully for 24–72 hours
- Optional: sand edges or add doming coat for high-gloss finish
Module 5: Finishing & Display Ideas (Video: ~20 min)
Turn your piece into a cherished keepsake or gift.
Tips:
- Sand or polish any rough areas
- Attach handles, hooks, or stands (for trays or blocks)
- Package in gift box with label or ribbon
- Optional: include date or initials in the design (gold foil or decals)
- Photograph your finished piece with soft lighting
Module 6: Custom Orders & Caring Tips (Video: ~15 min)
Tips for offering flower preservation as a service or gift product.
Steps:
- How to request and receive flowers by mail or drop-off
- Explain color fading risks and natural imperfections
- Store in cool, dry area away from direct sun
- Create a care guide card for clients
- Suggested pricing and packaging ideas
